Knight Fund Giving Levels
Everyone has a part to play in helping our Knights thrive! The Knight Fund sustains the mission of Bishop O’Connell. The Fund itself is sustained by major donors (those who give at least $1,800 per school year: this is known as our “gap” or the difference between what we charge in tuition and what it actually costs to educate a Knight each year). Major donors, who fall into one of the Head of School Circle giving levels, make up the vast majority of dollars raised via the Knight Fund each year.
That being said, we cannot reach our annual goal without smaller donors (who fall into various levels of the “Knight’s Circle”). Donors of this level are more numerous, yet play just as much a role in helping sustain our school (and support our students) as major donors. As mentioned above, we all have a part to play in helping our Knights thrive.
