2021 Gala & Auction FAQ

Our 20th Annual Gala & Auction is happening on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021.

How do I join the VIRTUAL Gala event?

During the broadcast we hold several drawings and pre-purchased raffles.
If your name/raffle ticket is drawn, you have 5 minutes to claim your prize by texting your name to: 202-417-6451.
Drawings and raffles are all “must be present to win” – if we don’t hear from you within the timeframe, we will draw another name/number.
All raffles are sold ahead of time; entries are not available for purchase during the live event.

ALL items must be picked up on Sunday, Feb. 21.
Guests with names A-L can pick up between noon and 2 p.m.
Guests with names M-Z can pick up between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Any packages that contain alcohol must be picked up by someone 21 years or older.
Volunteers will provide curb-side service – you don’t even have to get out of your car.
Shipping is not available.

Paid local delivery service is on an extremely limited basis.
Service must be requested no later than 10 am on Sunday by emailing gala@bishopoconnell.org.
Once confirmed, you will pay your driver directly.
Delivery fees start at $50 for one item, $10 for each additional item…note that extra-heavy or large items may incur additional cost.
O’Connell does not receive any portion of the delivery fees you pay to your driver. We cannot process credit cards for this service. Plan to pay your driver in cash or coordinate with them directly for Paypal/Venmo.

Bids are final; by placing a bid, you’re agreeing to the terms and conditions of the auction.
All merchandise must be paid in full the night of the auction.
All merchandise is final sale and must be picked up Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021.
O’Connell is unable to replace lost merchandise or gift cards/certificates.
