The Used Book and Uniform Sale (UBS) is a fundraiser for the PTO and a service to all O'Connell families. We offer used books in all conditions, not just "excellent." Why not keep a second set of "poor" condition books at home?
The PTO provides an easy and efficient way to sell your used books/uniforms. Consign with us and get top value. Proceeds benefit the O’Connell community.

Q. What is the Used Book Sale (UBS)?
A. The PTO provides an easy and efficient way to sell your used books/uniforms. Consign with us and get top value. Proceeds benefit the O’Connell community.
Q. What is the consignment fee?
A. The consignment fee for the PTO is 20% of the final selling price plus a $1 processing fee per student.
Q. What can I sell through the used book/uniform sale?
A. You can sell all current used books and uniforms.
Q. My books are discontinued, can I still sell them through the UBS?
A. The UBS does not sell discontinued books, we can however, accept them as donations.
Q. When is the UBS?
A. The UBS will be on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Q. What if my books don’t sell?
A. When you drop-off your books for consignment you have the option to request pick-up of any unsold books. You must retrieve any unsold books the day after the sale, Sunday, July 15, 2018, time TBD. ANY BOOKS LEFT AFTER SUNDAY, JULY 15 BECOME DONATIONS TO THE PTO. The PTO does not contact you to let you know if your books sale or not.
Q. What is the benefit of buying my books from the UBS?
A. By purchasing from the UBS you will save an average of 30-60% on your books and uniforms.
Q. What if I change my schedule and no longer need a book, can I return it for reimbursement?
A. No. All sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges.
