Royalette Dance Team

CHRISSY SALVADOR '95 - Head Coach & Director of Spirit Teams
Coach Chrissy was born and raised in Northern Virginia, and a 1995 graduate of Bishop O'Connell High School. She was a 4-year member of the Royalette Dance Team, a 2-year officer and held the position of captain her senior year. Coach Chrissy came on as assistant coach in 1999 and was named head coach in December 2000. In 2009 and 2018, Universal Dance Association, presented her with the Exceptional Coaches Award while attending camp with the team. Also, Bishop O'Connell awarded Coach Chrissy the 2014-2015 Coach of the Year. In 2015, she was named the Director of Spirit Teams for O'Connell. In 2017, she was awarded the Knight Service Award, one of Bishop O'Connell's Alumni Achievement Awards for meritorious service to the school and community. Coach Chrissy is also the Head Coach for the nationally ranked, the Catholic University Dance Team. She is a proud graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Since 2022, she has worked for the CHRO  Association as their Director Events & Networking. 

HALEY BREAUX '18 - Assistant Coach

Coach Haley was raised in Northern Virginia, and a 2018 graduate of Bishop O'Connell High School. She was a 4-year member of the Royalette Dance Team, a 2-year officer and held the position of co-captain her senior year. Coach Haley is a 3-time All-American and represented O'Connell in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade her senior year. She has danced since the age of 3 in all genres including tap, lyrical/contemporary, jazz, hip hop and ballet. Coach Haley joined the RDT staff in 2022 as their Skills Coach. She graduated from Spelman College with a degree in Psychology. Coach Haley has been a member of the Universal Dance Association staff since 2018. She is a former member of the Washington Wizards Dancers in the NBA. Coach Haley is currently an instructor at Cerdafied Dance Studios.

JADA FIELDS '17 - Assistant Coach

Coach Jada was raised in Southern Maryland, and a 2017 graduate of Bishop O'Connell High School. She was a 3-year member of the Royalette Dance Team, and held the position of co-captain her senior year. Coach Jada is a 2-time All-American. She has danced since the age of 2 in all genres including tap, lyrical/contemporary, jazz, hip hop, liturgical and ballet. Coach Jada joined the RDT staff in 2024 as their Skills/Technique Coach. She graduated from Towson University with a degree in Health Education and Promotion. Coach Jada was a member of the Towson Pom Squad her freshman year, and a 2-year member of the Towson Diamondz. She is currently studying for her Associates Degree in Surgical Technology at Montgomery College.
