Fundraising and volunteer activities reduce the overall costs of supporting the athletic program. The Athletics Boosters organize and staff the concession stands, sell spirit wear, offer support memberships, and hold fundraising events.

We support your athlete. We donate funds to O'Connell teams. We fund big-ticket purchases like the O'Connell Knights branded bus, gym's scoreboard, stadium concession stand, athletic trainer cart, Play Like a Champion program, athlete concussion testing, and much more.

The Bishop O'Connell Athletics Boosters are looking for each family to join us in the making this year at O'Connell the most exciting year ever! We invite you to join us in our quest to promote spirit for our athletic teams and school. Membership is an active symbol of that support. It enables the Boosters to promote Bishop O'Connell High School's name and provide financially for some of the additional needs of our athletics program and our student body as a whole.

So, we're calling on ALL O'Connell fans - not just athletes' families - to help us build more momentum!

Volunteer

We are active throughout the year with various activities after school and at various athletic and school events. We would love to have you join us!

All parents of O'Connell student-athletes must work at least two shifts in our concessions stand. This ensures that ALL teams earn money from concessions sales and contribute to booster purchases that benefit ALL athletics programs. This year, booster reps will distribute sign-up links to their teams for specific games and after-school shifts. It is the team's responsibility to fill assigned shifts. If you must cancel for any reason, you must find a replacement from within your team. There will also be sign-up links for OPEN weeks or after-school shifts and events that any parent from any team can sign up to volunteer. We rely on our volunteers to make the Athletics Boosters a success. Thank you in advance for your service. Boosters Club Information

We want the outside world to see what we already do! The Bishop O'Connell Athletics Booster Club was formed in 2005 with the adoption of a constitution and by-laws. The Athletics Boosters Council comprises a parent representative from each team and an athletics department member. The goal of the Boosters is to provide the framework and structure by which ALL the athletic teams at O'Connell can work together to improve our student-athletes and the community that supports them. To accomplish that goal, the Boosters organize and staff the concession stand, run the seasonal sports awards nights, hold fundraising events such as the Booster Bash, and sell spirit gear and memberships of support.
