Knowing that God has created us for community and increasingly aware of our global "connectedness" in the human family, O'Connell provides direct opportunities for students to experience culture, study and service through experiences beyond the classroom which range from speakers on themes of international importance right here at O'Connell to classes on campuses in other countries.

British Politics & Modern Society - Marymount University in partnership with Bishop O'Connell High School offers the Global Summer Institute Program. This unique opportunity allows high school students to learn about British politics and society, as they experience life and culture in the heart of London. Students will also have the option to earn three college credits.
