Four students accompanied by Spanish program director Faryde Yanine spent two weeks this summer in an intensive Spanish language program at the University of Salamanca in Spain.
In addition to classroom lessons in grammar and conversation, the students enjoyed extracurricular activities that included cooking classes as well as excursions to historical and cultural sites in Madrid, Toledo and Segovia.
“It is very special for me to accompany our students each year to my own alma mater for this unique and authentic learning experience,” said Yanine. “I am so proud of these students who grew as individuals, embracing the Spanish culture, mastering the language, and acting as goodwill ambassadors in their new surroundings.”
