YEARBOOK SIGNING EVENT Yearbooks will be distributed to all members of the class of 2010 on Sunday, August 8 from 1 - 3 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Pizza and sodas are provided!
College Acceptances - Seniors, please notify your guidance counselor of any college acceptances. CLICK HERE to view a running list of college acceptances for the class of 2010. This will be updated as new information comes in.
Registration - The All Night Grad Party (ANGP) is a fun and safe event for the Class of 2010 to spend one last night together. As in years past, over 90% of the class is expected to attend this party. The Party begins at 11:00 p.m. on Graduation night (June 3) and ends at 5:00 a.m. the next morning . Tickets are on sale now. Download the ANGP Ticket form HERE. The ticket price is $100 until May 31. Tickets purchased in June will be $125. FOR SECURITY PURPOSES TICKERS ARE NOT SOLD AT THE DOOR. Grad Announcements
- If you ordered graduation announcements from Herff Jones, but have
not picked them up yet, please stop by the activities office (Mrs.
Adkins desk) in the corner of the cafeteria to claim your
announcements.
Baccalaureate Breakfast - Invitations for all senior families
will be in the mail soon. The breakfast is on Sunday, May 23, at the
Sheraton Premiere at Tyson's Corner following the Baccalaureate Mass at
O'Connell. When you receive the invitation, if you have any questions,
please call Michelle Gillick, 703/787-8333.
Monday, Mar. 15 Deadline for senior ads submission to yearbook. CLICK HERE to download the form.
Monday, Apr. 26 Deadline to submit to Mrs. Adkins copies of scholarships received for inclusion in graduation program.
Sunday, May 2 Senior Mother/Son Brunch, Cafeteria, 11 a.m.
May 3 -14 AP exams.
Tuesday, May 18 Seniors - NO SCHOOL. (Underclass retreat day).
Wednesday, May 19 Baccalaureate practice during periods 2 and 3. Caps and gown distributed.
Friday, May 21 Senior Privilege Day (no school for seniors only). Senior Prom.
Sunday, May 23 Baccalaureate Mass, Auditorium, 9 a.m. Seniors arrive at school at 8:15 a.m.in cap and gown and proper dress. Communion Breakfast follows at approx. 11 a.m. - Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner.
Monday, May 24 9 a.m. opening for seniors - last day of classes.
Tuesday, May 25 Exams - Periods 3 and 4.
Wednesday, May 26 Exams - Periods 5 and 6.
Thursday, May 27 Exams - Periods 7 and 8.
Friday, May 28 Exams - Periods 1 and 2.
Friday, May 28 and Tuesday, June 1 PTO Used Book Turn-in for seniors.
Monday, May 31 Memorial Day Holiday.
Tuesday Jun. 1 Graduation practice at O'Connell. Students arrive at auditorium at 9:45 a.m. Casual dress; senior cook-out following practice (approx. 12 noon) Graduation tickets distributed after practice. Academic Awards Night at 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Jun. 2 Graduation practice at the Shrine. Students arrive at busport at 7:00 a.m. Must be in full uniform.
Thursday, Jun. 3 Graduation at the Shrine at 12 noon. Students arrive at Shrine at 11:00 a.m. All Night Grad Party begins at 11:00 p.m. at Worldgate Sport & Health.
NOTE: Attendance is mandatory at all graduation practices, Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation.
Volunteers
are needed for these committees: Set-up/Decorations, Food, Security, Games,
Coatroom, and Clean-up. We have a special need for Chairs for the Set-up, Games
