Alumni Challenge Kicks Off (September 25, 2009)
Bishop O'Connell and Bishop Ireton have kicked off their 2009-2010 annual fund campaigns with a joint challenge geared toward alumni.
O'Connell's Principal Joseph Vorbach (O'Connell class of 1983) and Ireton's Principal Timothy Hamer (Ireton class of 1978) are taking this challenge personally.
Between now and January 31, 2010, alumni giving to each school's annual fund will be tracked, and the school with the highest percentage of alumni participation will be declared the winner. The losing principal will have to wear the other school's uniform to school for one whole day!
