The Knight Fund

The Knight Fund is dedicated to funding the exceptional academic programs that tuition alone does not cover.  All unrestricted gifts made between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015 are put to use right away and counted toward our goal.  Your donation will make an immediate impact by funding the programs that provide our students with the educational tools to reach their fullest potential.  Every gift, no matter the size, is important!  The O'Connell legacy of outstanding academics and vibrant community is kept strong through the tax-deductible financial contributions of our alumni, parents, faculty and friends.

Every young person deserves the opportunity to have a quality Catholic education.  To make this a reality, we strive to keep tuition as affordable as possible. The Knight Fund bridges the critical $1,500 gap between what is charged in tuition and the actual cost of educating each student. Gifts to the Knight Fund go directly to ensure that all students receive a superior academic experience, with top-quality educators, in a lively Catholic environment.

Traditionally, strong institutions have strong annual funds. Regular support of the Knight Fund is a tangible vote of confidence for Catholic education and for Bishop O'Connell. Your gift to the Knight Fund will ensure we are able to:

  • Expand academic and extracurricular offerings
  • Hire and retain highly skilled educators
  • Enhance technology in the classroom

Did You Know? Current parents are encouraged to make their Knight Fund commitment at the time of registration. Payments can be made through the FACTS Tuition payment program over a ten-month period.
