CLINIC STAFF AND GENERAL INFORMATION
The Bishop O'Connell Health Clinic is staffed full time by Mrs. Julie Hayden, RN (7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) and Mrs. MaryAnn Krug, RN (10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.). Mrs. Hayden is a member of the National Association of School Nurses, serves on the Diocesan Nurses' Task Force, and has been recognized by America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals. Together, Mrs. Hayden and Mrs. Krug have over fifty years of combined nursing.
On a daily basis, the clinic staff attends to students and faculty who have ongoing medical needs, who have become ill at school, or who have sustained an injury. They also administer daily medication, listen to and answer health and safety related questions and work with teachers to remove impediments to learning. We encourage questions from all segments of the O'Connell family; students, faculty, staff, and parents and our door is always open.

"As a unique specialty within the nursing profession, the school nurse strives to meet the health and safety needs of both the student population and the school faculty and staff. To accomplish this, the school nurse acquires a wide range of knowledge, keeps current in CPR and First Aid, and attends continuing education conferences."
