|WHAT: Jazz & Java is a morning of entertainment designed to blend hot coffee and cool music - come enjoy and socialize or checkout a new book while listening to live music performed live by DJO faculty and students. Plan to attend before school on the first school day of every month.|

The Bishop O'Connell library assists students in acquiring, evaluating, and incorporating print and digital information into their high school experience. Research skill instruction is provided in full class, small group and one-on-one teaching. Emphasis is placed on instruction using a variety information resources and promoting mastery of research skills in preparation for college.
The Bishop O'Connell library contains fiction and non-fiction books and eBooks, magazines and scholarly journals, a reference collection, and DVDs and streaming media. Computers are available for accessing the school library catalog, subscription research databases and for school-related searches on the internet.
Our selection policy is to include materials that support the mission of the school. The materials are chosen to enhance the curriculum, aid in the moral development of the students, and stimulate their intellectual development. We welcome suggestions from faculty and students - Suggest a Title.
The library is staffed with two professional librarians and one library assistant.
