Celebrating 60 Years of Excellence in Catholic Education

This year we are celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Bishop O'Connell High School. The first "O'Connellites" crossed through an active construction zone to begin classes at this brand-new high school on Sep. 9, 1957. Since that time we have welcomed more than 18,000 new students to the school community, and each has their own story of their O'Connell experience.

Your Stories & More - As a part of our 60-year celebration, we are gathering memories, stories, photos and memorabilia from alumni across all the decades. Visit our memories page at the link below to see how you can help us tell the Bishop Denis J. O'Connell High School story. Don't be left out…deadline for submissions is June 1, 2017.

60 Hour Service Challenge - In honor of Bishop O'Connell High School's 60th Anniversary, we invite all members of the O'Connell family (students, alumni, parents, faculty members, and friends) to pledge 60 hours of service to their neighborhood, to their community, to their church, to those in need.
