2016 Bishop O'Connell J.V. Boys Soccer

The Bishop O’Connell boys soccer program is aspiring to consistently be one of the premier high school programs in the WCAC and the Commonwealth of Virginia. In order to accomplish this goal and maintain the highest standards of excellence, the program requires every player in the program to have a dedication and desire to do their utmost to be the very best student, athlete, and citizen.

Former O’Connell boys soccer program players are currently playing soccer at the following colleges and universities: Catholic University, Dickinson College, Georgetown University, Marymount University, Rutgers University, Wake Forest University, West Virginia University and the College of William and Mary.

Coach Mahoney is also a science teacher at Bishop O'Connell. His playing experience includes his time with the Downingtown High School team and the Lionville Strikers club team, both in the Philadelphia region. He is excited to join the coaching staff for 2014 and to have further opportunities to support O'Connell's mission of fostering the pursuit of excellence in the whole person.
